What's in the OnePlus 5T?

The biggest difference on the design front is the screen. The OnePlus 5T has been upgraded with a bigger 6-inch screen with full HD AMOLED display of 2,160 x 1,080 resolutions and an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a 401ppi pixel density. Now a days the 18:9 aspect ratio is much common on flagship phones. The display follows the trend of iPhone X, Google Pixel 2 XL, Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG V30. Extended screen makes some sensor disappear from the front, such as the fingerprint sensor. Now the fingerprint sensor at the back below the camera which is really handy for most of the users. But some of the user prefers for front fingerprint sensor. The 5T comes with USB-C type support.

The device packs with Android Nougat v7.1.1 powered by an Octa-core 2.45 GHz processor and 6/8GB of RAM space with 64/128GB of internal storage respectively. It packs with 3,300mAh battery which really seems little bit low now a days. The dual camera setup on the back of the phone. The first lens is the same 16MP sensor from the OnePlus 5, but the secondary telephoto lens has been replaced with a 20MP f/1.7 sensor that uses groups of four pixels to capture more light for better performance in the dark. The new in the camera is quick shot. This feature makes 5T to open the camera quickly and snap the picture. This feature is present in the many phones but OnePlus says this is new 5T feature. This feature is not new for many users but its still helpful for many of those users who wants to capture the moment which they wants.

It had Premium metal unibody design. This looks like exactly same as previous OnePlus 5. The headphone jack, speaker grill, and USB Type-C port are all in the same place. The body feels same but the biggest update here is the screen. The not noticeable change is the camera grill, the bumps-up the camera slightly larger. Many of the user don't notice this small change. Although it packs the great camera on 5T. The 6/64 GB model will cost $499, while the 8/128GB model will cost $559. This is  $20 more than the price of the OnePlus 5.
